Andy Silke is a BBC network radio producer based in Manchester, Great Britain.

I am an Assistant Editor at BBC Radio 5 Live, the BBC's domestic news and sport network. I help manage the day to day production of 5 Live Breakfast, broadcast seven days a week from the BBC's studios at MediaCityUK in Salford Quays.

I am an experienced output editor, field producer and team leader specialising in speech radio and breaking news journalism. I have been deployed on breaking stories and major events across the UK, in Europe, and Japan.

My career at the BBC also includes stints at BBC Radio 4, the BBC's Europe bureau in Brussels, and local radio. I am also an experienced photographer, social media enthusiast, F1 fan and closet geek.
