In 2005/6 I was formally trained in broadcast journalism at LCP, and am BJTC-accredited (With Distinction). I
have worked full time in radio newsrooms across the country since April 2006.

I have been at the BBC since January 2007 and currently work as the producer of BBC WM's breakfast show
Phil Upton @ Breakfast, broadcast live Monday to Friday from the Mailbox studios in Birmingham.
